how i shoot

photojournalistic style

i shoot weddings with the same attention to unfolding action that i bring to events from street protests to balloon launches. that means i'm ready to capture everything that happens, planned or spontaneous, so that you get to savor every memory, not just the posed ones.

what you get

consultation session

you're working to make your big day unique and meaningful to you, and i want to do all i can to capture that completely. that's why we'll sit down together and build a plan fit just to you, including a shot list that reflects your priorities and incorporates the creative touches you've made.

photo discs

you'll get all the images i shoot, in full-resolution, archived on cd or dvd. i'll take the time to select, edit, and adjust the best 200 images, but you'll still get every last photo.

reproduction rights

the day is yours, and i believe the images should all be truly yours, too. that's why i confer full rights to reproduce the photos i take for your personal use, meaning you're free to make as many of your own prints as you want, to post them to your facebook profile and myspace page, and to make commemorative mugs for mom. all i ask is that you pass my name along when admirers inquire.

photo album

some of my packages provide a photo album with highlight images. this is an archival-quality book printed in luscious color, perfect for cuddling up with whenever you want to remember the day.

photo website

photo books are great for you, but what about all those great aunts and second cousins? i'll set up your own website, with beautiful large slideshows of the images of your choice. it can be public to all, or password protected. a website is included with some packages.
